Bio
Hi, I'm Tommy Mitoraj (b. 1999). I'm from Barrington, Illinois but I grew up moving around the world. I currently live and work as a freelance audio engineer, producer, and theater technician in London, UK.
About me:
After attending Texas Christian University ('20, BA Music - Physics Minor), I earned his masters at Kingston University (MA Music, London, UK). While at school, I worked at Stonecutter Recording Studios in Chicago, IL, owned and operated by Chris Steinmetz, as an Audio Engineer intern. I also studied at l'IRCAM (Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique) in Paris, France. At the institute, I developed familiarity with Max/MSP as well as cutting edge programs developed at IRCAM such as SPAT and AudioSculpt.
As a multi instrumentalist and vocalist, I enjoy engaging in a variety of ensembles and opportunities. My composition work focuses on eclectic range of contemporary music combined with modern and vintage music production techniques. I work with artists across all genres for recording and music production projects, and often work as a live sound engineer at concerts and various gigs.
